‘Patterns’ was the theme of the school’s third trimester and Ms. Walkers class chose to make drums and learn some songs with rhythm sticks to explore the idea of patterns in music.

The students got their hands on some rawhide made from local deerskin and stretched their own drums over wooden frames. The wrapped cloth and buckskin around a tan oak stick to make the drumstick.
